RESTART

RESTART is a post recovery programme developed in partnership with the Racial Equality Network, based on experiences supporting BAME (Black, Asian & minority ethnic) organisations in the VCSE (Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise) sector and in consultation with a number of partners and organisations.

RESTART will empower and support BAME organisations across the VCSE sector to help safeguard and create new jobs, build resilience, increase organisational capacity and increase the potential for income generation.

RESTART will include Organisational Health Checks to determine support needs and aspirations of organisations, followed by delivery of 1-1 advice, support, capacity building and group workshops, based on the demands and needs of participants.

Organisational Health Checks

Every participant organisation in RESTART will undergo an Organisational Health Check which will help to identify gaps and provide support with training, capacity building, business planning, income generation, funding support, HR, Legal, environmental sustainability, financial resilience, monitoring and impact assessments and becoming Tender Ready.

The health check place will take place online and once needs are identified – whether on HR guidance, training, business development, governance, policies –

RESTART will offer two days consultancy support to each participant organisation, including 1-1 support and workshops.
